teletext via USB Capture

Hey forum members,

It may seem an ancient wish to record teletext from an external source into a single video file, but I somehow do not manage to set this up on VLC. Hardware is an AVerTV Volar Video Capture USB Interface, the Aver-software tends to show teletext while simply displaying input and to dropout teletext as soon as it is told to record the input. So I wanted to get this started with VLC, but maybe I could not get into the command line language that fast, the following line showed no teletext in VLC display:
