I'm trying to get a live H.264 HD stream and transcode it then stream out to an icecast server.
First I tried it w/o gpu help it simply runs very short amount of time and then vlc dies. in the mean time cpu utilisation is only %50, even if I've been set the "stream output->sout stream->transcode->number of threads" to 4 (I have an amd x4 965 black edition, so 4 cores is correct setting I assume) and checked the "high priority" at the same place...
So my first question is what can I do to have VLC to fully utilize my cpu? because as I'll show you in the logs of this first case's it looks like it dies beause of cant keep up with the transcoding process;

BTW none of this problems happen when I try it with a non-HD live stream nor a regular sized recorded file. it also doesn't have any problem of live transcode/save to a file of the same live HD stream...
As far as I can tell, it seems to me that transcode speed cant catchup with audio transcode while cpu utilasation is no more than %50 (strangely)...
So million dollar question is what is my problem and how can I solve it?
Help me out here guys, I'm stuck
