converted movie ok but sound out of sync.

Postby rschacht » 14 Apr 2011 20:44

Hi all,

I have been able to convert some of my movies to .mov on my laptop without having to keep the DVD with me. If the movie is over an hour long the sounds goes out of sync with the video.

I have not seen this issue posted before.

My setting are:
==================
PROFILE Video H.264 + AAC(TS)
-----------------------------
ENCAPSULATION MP4/MOV
-----------------------------
VIDEO CODEC
CODEC H 264
BITRATE 1024
FRAME RATE 0.00
-----------------------------
AUDIO
CODEC MPEG AUDIO
BITRATE 256 KB/S
CHANNEL 2
SAMPLE RATE 44100
================================
these are the only setting that seem to work for me. I have come to these setting though trial and error. If someone have better setting I'd love to try them out.

If i'm going to have any problems with the sound it happens when I'm 1 hour into the movie, the audio and video are noticably out of sync. I'm converting using an HP Desktop.

I hope I provided enough information.

Thanks in advance.
