Is it possible to clear Playlist from command-line ?

Hi,
[Note : Even if I'm on Windows, I posted here because my question may apply also for Mac and Linux. But feel free to move the post in the windows section if it is really specific to windows]
From the file explorer context menu, I would like that VLC works as Winamp did :
- the menu entry "Play with VLC" first clear the playlist (and stop the current play if any) before adding the selected(s) file(s) (one or many in case of multiple selection or folder selection)
- the file(s) loaded like that would be sorted by filename (aka URI) (instead of "Title" or from the order of the selection) to maintain a CD file order even if the files are not tagged.
Note :
- the menu entry "Play" currently have the same effect that "Play with VLC". (add the file(s) selected at the end of the playlist and play the first imediately).
- the context menu "Add to the VLC playlist" works fine and does not require any change.
I searched from the command line options of VLC (wiki and website very long pages!), without finding anything to clear the playlist or sort it. Did I missed something ?
Thank you for any help !
K.
