i've used vlc only to play media files, but i'm told it can do some server/client stuff. my question is, can two people watch the same video file using vlc. example situation, my girlfriend (in taiwan) and i (in united states) will want to watch a video together, so we grab the same media file, and i text her when to start so we start roughly around the same time. things can get really messed up when someone needs to leave and pause for a little bit though. so can vlc control video on both sides? like one person will press play, and both will start to play; one person pauses, both will pause; one person will seek, both will seek, etc. is there a way that vlc can facilitate something like this? if so, does this feature have a name, cause i don't even know what to search for help. thanks, and sorry if this is really dumb :-p
