XSPF format fails to save >111 records(?)

Postby pwhk » 01 Apr 2011 04:46

I believe it is a bug, but I am not completely sure...

I am using VLC v1.1.8 on Windows 7 home premium. Preferences have been reset and seems not related to the problem.
What's strange is that, it seems only those folders are suffering this problem, but not other folders.

Here's what I did
1. Put 4 folders into the playlist
2. Expand the folders (double click them)
3. Play every song
4. Get the length of the song, and sort by length
5. Delete those which are not mp3 files (without song length)
6. Sort the playlist by song name
7. Save the playlist as XSPF format
8. Load the playlist, I only see first 111 records, the remaining records are gone!

In the songs inside those folders, there are 2 of them which make VLC hangs for a while before being able to play them. I am not sure if it is related.

The m3u8 format works properly though.
