BUGS:
- Problem with Polish symbols in VLC installer like "Ś" in "wyczyścić" (instead of "ś" there is some strange symbol)
- Versions 1.1.6 and 1.1.7 can't use subtitles, and it is not possible to use them! I use Polish language subtitles maybe it's the problem with the specific language subtitles ?
I don't know but I went back to 1.1.5 and all is fine

Can you share one of the non-working subtitle?

It can be any subtitle (as I assume in Polish)
everything is fine on a clear installation of 1.1.5 but later versions not
And when i use drag and drop than VLC is crashing
