Resetting Probs

Heya VLC-Folks,

i´m using VLC since quite a time and never got a reason to complain ´bout it and i
still dont have, just a question...

Since the update on the latest 1.1.7 version my VLC don´t reset the adjustments
when i did work with brightness, contrast and the other stuff...
But it´s easier to work with that from "zero" then to adjust the level´s from the
(sometimes) overdrwan adjustments for ol´ movies (like some Super8-vid´s i have).

And since then the VLC-window dont reset to just the toolbar it stays like the last size
i´d had the vid open and starts with a black screen with the VLC-icon...

Is there anybody who might help me with that?

REALLY nobody could help me?

It´s really annoying when my VLC starts allways with mixed up colores...
