Hello, I've noticed that when I start to play any audio file (either an audio CD or an MP3 file), either under Windows or Linux, there's a low flange noise barely noticeable that lasts for a few seconds. If loud the volume, then it becomes evident if you pay some attention. The noise I describe it like a flange noise, since it's like a very low "ggghhhshhhh" going up and down like a changing phase thing, like two audio tracks playing almost at the same time but one of them fix in speed and the other one with little variations making that sweeping flange or phaser sound -I hope you know what I mean. If I scroll back to the beginning, the noise dissapears, but now I know it's there, it has become quite annoying and I always hear it.
Has this problem been listed yet? Any other people having the same problem? Using another player I won't get that noise.
By the way, I just use an HP laptop, dv6 1360ss pavilion with those realtek HD audio drivers, and this happend under Win7 and Ubuntu9, so it's not a OS problem I assume. I use also a TC Electronic 1394 audio card but can't say now if that's still happening, anyway I would like to listen to music (neat) without having to plug it.
Cheers,
Danny.
