how to move/drag the player with the mouse?

hello

with other players ( BSplayer, kmplayer .. ) i can drag the player aroung with the mouse over the video

but with vlc i can only drag it if i hit the bar , like a window

If you click on the video, VLC will report a click to the multimedia pipeline. This is required for DVD and MKV menus, and for a few video filters.
