Problems with Sony FX1 and VLC

Postby mb4ever » 19 Apr 2005 12:37

I use the following command line options:

vlc.exe dshow:// :dshow-vdev="Microsoft AV/C Tape Subunit Device" :dshow-adev="" :dshow-size="" :no-dshow-config :no-dshow-tuner

In the message File i see this mistakes:

> ts warning: lost synchro
> ts debug: skipping 55 bytes of garbage
> ts warning: discontinuity received 0xe instead of 0xc
> ts warning: lost synchro
> ts debug: skipping 55 bytes of garbage
> ts warning: discontinuity received 0x5 instead of 0x7
> ts warning: lost synchro
> ts debug: skipping 91 bytes of garbage
> ts warning: discontinuity received 0x4 instead of 0x1
> ts warning: discontinuity received 0x5 instead of 0x3
> ts warning: discontinuity received 0xf instead of 0xc
> ts warning: lost synchro
> ts debug: skipping 19 bytes of garbage
> ts warning: discontinuity received 0xb instead of 0xa
> ts debug: PMTCallBack called
> ts warning: lost synchro
> ts debug: skipping 55 bytes of garbage
> ts warning: discontinuity received 0xa instead of 0x5

Can anybody help?

Thanx

VLC recognizes that the device outputs Mpeg TS, but the MPEG-TS isn't valid.
Don't use PMs for support questions.

which is because 0.8.1 has a known bug when reading compressed content from a dshow source. Try a nightly build at http://www.videolan.org/~videolan
