Hi,

how do I tell the VLC Player from where he should take the SAP information?
Or: What is the SAP address the Player is listening to? (I expect the port to be 9875)
Does anybody know?

P.S.: I'm using VLC media player 0.8.1 for Windows

I found out the default address myself:
It is 224.2.127.254:9875

But one question remains:
Is it possible to change the SAP listen address in the player?

Yes, if you change it in the source.
There is absolutelty no need to do so though. SAP information is supposed to be on that address, and nowhere else.

I have cross compiled VLC over windows. Does the SAP capture work over NT?

I'm probing VLC with a Imagenio (I don't know if you know it: it's HDTV over ADSL, by Telefonica) and I mark in preferences SAP option, but it doesn't find any channel. Also I think that Telefonica doesn't put the SAP information on 230.0.2.10, not 224.2.127.254:9875.
