Quicktime movies and the qtmlclient.dll?

Postby quicktime lover » 17 Apr 2005 13:59

Hi,

I have the qtmlclient.dll in the vlc.exe directory but I'm not getting any sound with some of the more recent trailers?

Its the same with the win version of MPlayer....is this support finished? It was nice not having the bloated mess that is Quicktime Player installed....

Thanks!

We should try and come up with a STAND ALONE QDM2 CODEC!!!

If QT alternative and MPLAYER can do it,we can too!!!!!!

Lets go guys!!!!!!!!

both also use the official quicktime library. they just use a different installation proces.
no free and opensource version of the QDM2 codec currently exists.
Don't use PMs for support questions.

Nevermind. I'm wrong. I stored the codec in the wrong directory.
