I've noticed that my vobsub subtitles look different in VLC than in other players (totem, mplayer). There are some shadows around the letters, which you can see when you zoom into this example picture:
Is there a way to get rid of this? (I'm using VLC 1.1.4, in the version coming with Ubuntu 10.10.)
