How to disable WinExplorer "Play" context menus for VLC?

How can I disable all the WinExplorer "Play" context menus for certain extension like *.avi in VLC?
However when I double click on an *.avi file then VLC should automatically play this video.
So the file association should NOT be removed - only the context menu entry.
I found no preference entry for this
