DVD:s???

Hello, I need some help with playing DVD:s with my VLC-player.

I've got Windows XP (and Windows XP Service Pack 2 with that), and my VLC version is 0.8.1.

The problem with playing DVD:s for me is when the warning texts come up, VLC shows the warning texts, but somehow it doesn't seem to know when to just show the pictures coming after that, so it's like stuck on a loop or something... anyhow it's really annoying and I wonder if anyone knows how to fix this, or if it's planned to be fixed til the next version release of VLC???

best regards
Christian

Thanks dionoea, it helped, now I can watch DVD:s with VLC :D Although I can't see the main menu though (whereas you can set subtitles if you've got a friend that doesn't know his english very well) but still it was really great advice, thanks.

Hey dionoea, you do know your VLC, don't you? ;) Thanks for the help again, you're a really nice person. I don't think I have ever seen such a helpful person on the internet... and that's saying a lot. Thanks again and have a wonderful day.
