Wrong language...

I've downloaded VLC several times and each and every time when requesting for the language to be french, it sets it to be... freaking DUTCH !!!

I may be belgian but I don't speak dutch. IK SPREECHT NIET NEDERLANDS !!! That is terrifyingly annoying.

Is it possible to change the language settings afterwards ?

If yes, how ?

If no, why oh why ?

Steps to follow anyone ?

Thanks in advance.

You're being confused. The langauge selection you see only applies to the VLC installer, not to the software itself.

VLC language selection is done by a software component known as GNU/gettext. On most systems, it gets the correct language from the system configuration. But I believe that. on Windows GNU/gettext infers the language from the keyboard layout. Since this component is not developed by the VLC team, so not much help from this forum.
