VLC player unable to play particular video (screenshot)

I realize VLC does not support ALL format types for a video; however, I am stumped on how to run this particular video. Below is a screenshot I took, with the part numbered 1 showing details from a program called gspot which helps determine if the video in question is missing a codec on your computer. 2 Simply shows the right click details of the file.
The last part of the screenshot shows the error message when VLC attempts to run it. I would appreciate any help to figure out what I need to run this, either with VLC player or something else.
