Mac command line parameters

Postby star » 17 Dec 2010 14:46

Hello,

I'm calling VLC from command line to show a video in fullscreen mode. Which command line parameters _on Mac_ would fix the following problems:
1) When the video starts, a black screen quickly flashes and fades. I'd like the video to start immediately without the black screen. This flash also seems to happen on top of everything, even though I have an application that I've forced to always show on top. Also, if this black flash can't be removed, is it possible to change its color?

2) How can I keep the video playback controls hidden all the time? On Windows --no-osd and --no-mouse-events worked, but not on Mac.

Thanks in advance! :)
