cannot load subtitles on .ts video files

i tried to load subtitles on a .ts video file (1080p resolution) but it doesn't play, i removed the subtitle file and it played, so i can see the video without subtitles, whats going on?

Separate subtitles are not supposed with TS streams, only subtitles embedded inside the TS stream are.
