Playlist playback question (newbie question)

Hi all,

I am new to VLC and I have a question regarding playback with the playlist.
I created a playlist with video, audio and pictures.
What I would like to do is the following:
- Play the list, but I want to the list to stop/pauze after playing each file.
I want to manually press play when it has to start the next item on the playlist.

I did find the 'loop one/ loop all' toggle button and played with it, but it doesn't do what I need.

Can someone help me?
