Rip a cd with vlc?

Postby garyd » 02 Nov 2010 03:16

Hi All,

Honestly, I have tried searching for this basic query but nothing seemed to match.
I'm trying to gradually shift away from MS dependency.
One facility very handy (for me) is the ablity of Media Player to rip a whole audio cd and in doing so make individual tracks.
Is this at all posible with vlc?
In addition I have the latest version and find it very unstable compared to the previous version (can't remember, sorry!) I had before updating.

Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

All the best.

Oh! :o

Just thought that as Windows Media Player can then vlc could do too.

I will have to find something similar to WMP.

Thanks for the info, servocrow101
