cycle through deinterlace modes while playing

In 8.6.x era of VLC, "D" hot-key was used to cycle through deinterlace modes (Disabled, Discard, Blend, ....).

Now, with 1.1.4, it just toggles between off and on with some fixed (previously set) mode.

So, is it possible, without the use of the mouse and menus, to change the deinterlace mode while playing?

I don't think so.

10x for the info, Jean.

Since VLC is commonly used as IP-TV viewer, is there a plan to implement such controlling features in the future? Preferably in rc interface...

It would be very nice to complete rc interface with missing features (like deinterlace settings). I hope I'm not the only one with these needs. :-)

If you want a new feature for the rc interface, please fill a bug report (http://trac.videolan.org/vlc).
