vlc 0.8.1 on xp sp2.
I have downloaded the skins from vlc website but vlc will only load default
vlc skin.
I have set prefs/interface to skinnable and restarted from start/prog/vlc skins
but no joy.
Can someone help, maybe i'm missing something.

skins2 error: Failed to parse C:\Documents and Settings\Gordon\My Documents\My Downloads\itunes.vlt
skins2 error: A problem occurred when loading the new theme, restoring the previous one
skins2 error: WM_SYSCOMMAND 61728

The important error was probably just before this one. Without it i can only guess, and my guess is that you are trying to use 'old' skins, which are incompatible with the current version of VLC (as explained on the skins download page btw...)

Thanks for the reply Ipkiss.
I realised that i was trying to use the old skins as you said.
I don't know how I missed the BIG RED LETTERING on the skin download page
By the way VLC rocks my world even in its early stages, keep up the great work.
Cheers to you all.
