Playing MP3, wait 2/3 seconds

Hello,
Why VLC take 2/3 seconds before starting plaing MP3 ?
I've disabled "Cover downloading" and Metadata search. But have no effect.
Each MP3 start plaing 2/3 second after i dbl-click on it.
I've no problem with other players.
I'm on Ubuntu 10.04
VLC is 1.0.6
