Subtitle Problem in VLC

Postby zeppyk » 04 Oct 2010 14:32

Hello, i use vlc version 1.0.6 on a debian machine.

I want to use the vlc program to convert an multicast stream to http stream for IPTV sollution.

I didn't find any documentation ( after i checked out all options ) for integrate subtitle stream into the same http stream but enabled by default.

I use this command line to transform from multicast to unicast http :

vlc -vvvvvvvvvv udp://@225.0.5.15:1234 --program=11144 --sub-track-id=2605 --sub-track=2605 --sout '#standard{access=http,mux=ts,dst=0.0.0.0:11144}'

Where 2605 is the pid of the subtitle.

With this command if i play that http stream with vlc on my windows station, i can select the subtitle but default is disabled. I want to know if there is any sollution to enable that subtitle by default.

Thank you very much.
