Play Truncates Early

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

Play Truncates Early

Postby Bill_MI » 03 Oct 2010 11:36

Most noticeable on a tiny sound effect but I believe it's on everything. Output stops about 1/2 second early. If the clip is 1/2 second long, nothing is heard in Windows or Linux. Looks like output buffering delay not in sync with playback.

Others seeing this?

TIA and thanks for THE best player... anywhere! :D

Well known problem.
Architecturally difficult to get rid of? Related to lagging PAUSE response?
