Bug in DVD Menu with cropping enabled

Postby softcreator » 12 Sep 2010 12:36

Hello, guys!

First of all, let me thank you for the great player.
I believe it's the best on the market and I'm really happy using it.

But I found possible bug. It's very simple to reproduce.
1. Put any DVD that has a menu to DVD drive.
2. Open this DVD with any method.
3. Apply some type of widescreen cropping (16:9 or 16:10), I use it to play DVDs on my widecreen laptop.
4. Now try to select any DVD menu click areas. The problem is that the title appears below the actual click zone.
I believe the problem is caused by cropping, because the vertical shift is approximately equal to cropped upper part height.
So I hope this bug is really easy to fix - just shift click zones taking current cropping size into account.

Technical details:
- I'm using VLC Player for Windows v1.1.4 (but the bug exists in earliner versions also)
- The bug reproduces in any Windows (XP to Seven) on any computer

You can contact me on mail soft.creator(dog)mail(dot)ru or on skype soft.creator

Best regards, Denis
