when i open a video file to play in latest VLC player 1.1.3 now for the past two days , i got a small error window displaying as Below:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error !

program c:\programfiles\videoLAN\vlc\vlc.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

What does it mean ?
How to correct this problem and to open video files to play in VLC.
Please help....
My PC OS is Windows XP SP2 Professional [32bit].
2GB Kingston DDR2 800mhz

Does VLC even launch in normal way?

when i try to open any video files, just the same error comes and closing it.
