VLC options on cmd window

Postby Micka10 » 11 Aug 2010 16:51

I have instaled VLC 1.0.5 version.
I wanted to look into options for x264 encoding so I thought I can use command window for this, as described in:
http://wiki.videolan.org/VLC-1-0-x_command-line_help

Hovewer, when i type vlc --help i get the following message in the new command window:

Dumped content to vlc-help.txt file.
Press the RETURN key to continue ...

What can I do about this? Please help!
Thank you!

I think the message is quite self-explanatory...
