Capturing stills. (Be patient, this one is slow.)

I know this has been asked before, but how can I take screen captures. Like you can with the BS player (ctrl+p). I have read previous answers to this question, but I still dont get it. Do I need a new version or build or something. 
Um, you may have to check back here incase I still don't get it. Sorry.
