2 Bugs: Mininal View and subtitle scaling

Hey,
Since 1.1.0 and now since 1.1.2 I noticed two bugs.

Okay first bug since 1.1.0:

I double-click a video and when it's played I press "H" for minimal view.
But then the aspect ratio changes, too. Instead of making the windows smaller, VLC adds stripes on the bottom and on the top.
When i press CTRL + H to leave minimal view it's the same problem again. Instead of making the windows bigger, VLC smalls the video and adds black stripes on the left and right size.

In screenshots:
I start VLC and play the file:

I press H and this happens:

Okay, now I make the window smaller, so that the video fits in it:

And now I press CTRL + H and this happens:

This never happened before I updated to 1.1.0.

And then my next problem:

When I play an .mkv (in this case 720p) with subtitles and make the windows smaller, the subtitles aren't displayed sharp anymore:

And here for comparsion the full screen mode screenshot (click on it!):

Well, actually i don't know if this problem is OS-specific!

My techs:
Windows 7 HP x64
Intel Dual Core 2 x 2 GHz
ATI Radeon 4330 Mobile with Catalyst 10.7
VLC 1.1.2

Would be nice if someone is able to help.

Thanks!

The aspect ratio does not change in your pictures. In fact, VLC needs to add the black bars to retain the correct aspect ratio. In order to fill the canvas, VLC would have to distort the video. Have a closer look at the channel logo:The circle remains a perfect circle in all screen shots. A clear sign for the correct aspect ratio.

Oh, sorry, I used the wrong word. Thanks!

Of course aspect ration is right but those bars are new to me. They began to appear since 1.1.0..
