When I try to build x264 with --enable-mp4-output, I get this error:
x264.c:45:28: error: gpac/m4_author.h: No such file or directory

However, no version of gpac that I can find has any such header file. I even tried checking out the svn version and serarching over all the branches and tags in the search tree for several different revisions. Does anyone know how I can get the right version of gpac for building x264?

gpac-dev installed?

Is there such a thing? I only see one svn url and the only download options are windows binary or generic source code. I don't see anything about a development version.
