Are there some test files that people use to determine how well things are performing with VLC?

If i build a system, i want to see how well it can playback files, can it do it with out skipping and such. I am looking for a set of stress test videos that I can use to test CPU usage, audio quality, and video quality.

I was considering using Big Buck Bunny, but the h.264 version is not compatible with VLC according to the website.

Should i just render some random footage out to 1080p, and encode it with handbrake or other apps to see my self? if so, what should I look for in sample footage to stress VLC?
