Incorrect Colour Display on VLC Media Player

Postby cclark » 08 Jul 2010 18:01

Hi,

Any ideas why a Video would display colours incorrectly in VLC Media Player?
(i.e. all the parts of the video that are supposed to be blue become red / brown when transferred to a colleagues laptop be played in VLC software).
Please note the video file we want to view is a VOB file. The VOB file looks fine and displays colours correctly via VCL Media player on my computer (running on VISTA) but colours are completely different on colleague’s laptop (running Windows)(i.e. all blue backgrounds etc have turned red).
Any help appreciated.

Cheers,
Carolyn

Just check control panel -> display -> settings and change the color quality to Highest (32 bits) instead of medium (16 bit) and it should work fine.
