V1.1.0 minimal view "bug"

Postby YenRug » 04 Jul 2010 11:02

Since installing 1.1.0 I've noticed that "Minimal View" has changed, though whether it's an actual "bug" or not I'm not sure.

When I click on "Minimal View" the menu and interface bars disappear, but they now leave black bars at the top and bottom of the video window area.

Clicking on "Video > Zoom > 1:1 Original" removes the bars and shrinks the window to fit the video view.

Clicking on "Minimal View" again, brings back the menu bars but shrinks the video window to fit in the menu bars.

It sounds like 1.1.0 is a dead end as you work on 1.2, from what I read in the stickied thread, but hopefully this won't be the way it works in 1.2.

The issue is present in VLC 1.1.0 and 1.2.0. If I find a fix in 1.2.0 I will backport it to 1.1.x

File a bug.
