Stutter Update

When streaming .m3u i get stutter every 4-10 seconds no matter the buffer size I set. This is only a problem with 1.1.0. Used other versions for years with no problem. Win 7 64.

Update

I uninstalled 1.1.0 and reinstalled 1.0.5 Now it works perfectly without the skip every 4-ten seconds.

Just thought I should let you know.

I use VLC as my desktop radio player because it uses up very little resources compared to other applications and especially streaming with a stations website player.

Is there any possible way to use VLC as my FM Tuner client for my Fm Tuner that's on my video card?

Thanks,

zenbyte

Can you share a stream example?

I want to chime in on this, I installed version 1.1.0 two days ago and began listening to my playlist of locally-stored podcasts, and shortly noticed that playback was pausing for 1-2 seconds at a time every twenty seconds or so. Neither upping the cache value nor setting VLC to run at a higher priority fixed it. I downgraded back to 1.0.5 and the issue disappeared.

I'm using XP SP3 and have never had this problem with VLC in any prior version.

Exactly the same, it sounds like.
