There is an issue with sharpening video (As reported here) that makes it unusable with some videos. It was reported during the RC, but remains in the current version.
Any plans to fix this in the near future, or any idea what the cause is?

Unfortunately, noone seems to be working on it, and no bug was filed for this issue.
