*BUG* VLC eats the first +o-500ms of the beggining of the file.
like old CD players, Sony M-19, eats the first 300ms aprox.

WindowsMediaPlayer11 does not eat the first milliseconds = plays the file OK from the start.

this is very noticeable/annoing when playing a file that plays right away, drums or kicks, and the mastering eng. didnt leave a silence gap.

should be easy to test usign a .wav or .mp3 file with tones...

pink noise from 0 to 49ms.
500hz for 50ms to 99ms.
1000hz for 100-149ms.
1500hz for 150-199ms.
2000hz for 200-249ms.
2500hz for 250-299ms.
3000hz for 300-349ms.
3500hz for 350-399ms.
4000hz for 400-449ms.
4500hz for 450-499ms.
5000hz for 500-549ms.
5500Hz for 550-599ms.

and usign a very accurate Zoomable Tuner (pitch detection software) like AP Tuner 3.08

for some Reason Win32 drivers sound better than DirectX drivers. both with 32bit active.
and theres no ASIO driver support.
