VLC, SSM multicast, and SDP

All,
I know that VLC supports SSM (single-source multicast) and I've seen other forum topics state that to use it for SDP use the source attribute and for plain RTP and UDP streams, the syntax is:
rtp://SOURCE_IP:SOURCE_PORT@GROUP_IP:GROUP_PORT
udp://SOURCE_IP:SOURCE_PORT@GROUP_IP:GROUP_PORT
I know that this may be a SDP specific question but what's the format of the SDP source attribute? a=???
Thanks,
Dave Irwin
