Correct Sync and record

Hi,
I've looked at the instructions for VLC but can't find an answer to my problem.
I have a copy of a 24Hrs episode where the audio goes in and out of sync. Is it possible to record the episode with VLC while at the same time correcting the sync issues as VLC plays. Hope I've made it clear.
