pause & resume a http-stream -> connection reset by peer

I tested it only on win32, but I suggest this is not a OS specific problem.
If playing a simple http stream (TS) the connection is reset by peer after resuming playback from pause.
I only remember that with --timeshift-force in older version this was working, but this option is not existing any more.
If I activate --http-reconnect it resumes the stream, but without caching I think, because it stucks all the time.
Maybe I need a new option to get this working?

This was working with VLC08, is there a reason why this isn't working anymore? Any hint to get this working?
I'm playing a TS http stream and want to be able to pause it...
