automatically check for formatted subtitles

Hello,

When I try to load unicode subtitles, I get squares instead of the font. This is fixed when I uncheck "Formatted subtitles" in Advanced Options.

I like having the formatted subtitles when they are in English. Is there an option (if not, feature request please! to have formatting when loading formatted subtitles (almost always English for me, and thus displays correctly), and no formatting when loading plain srt (which don't have formatting anyways)? It is a pain to go through all the options/tabs to turn this off and on when I watch different videos
