Shut down problem

I use the latest version of the player.

I see that if I plays an Url or a file the vlc player will close down spontaneously.

The same problem will happens if he cannot play a unknown file or url.

In the menu stay that option always OFF

Into the early versions there a no problem with it.

Can you solve that problem?

I use windows 2000 professional service pack 4.
