Small(er) player window

I frequently work on multiple things at once and I size VLC down to free up screen space, but the minimum width of the window is limited to the minimum width of the control bar. Even when set to minimal view the minimum width is still fixed. Is it possible to configure VLC so that the window can be made smaller? The size of an Aero Peek view is about how small I am looking for. Perhaps the minimum width of the control bar can be changed or using a certain skin will allow for tiny vlc windows. Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Don't use any interface, then.

I think j-b was being sarcastic, especially since he was so brief. But, while taking taking a look at the interface settings I found the "Embed video in interface" setting. With that unchecked the video can be shrunken to a width of about an inch, which is just what I was looking for. Thanks.

I wasn't sarcastic.
If you don't want interface, don't use the interface.
