VLC is finishing before ending the video

Hi there,

I've searched this in the forum and on google and ending up posting here.

i usually deal with 30 sec files with all sorts of formats from MOV to MXF to Mpg.
And recently i have noticed that VLC stops the playback before file is ending completely meaning cutting off the last second of the video and leaving the audio and visual chopping off last bit. It seems like video file is not a complete file.

Where when i use quicktime and windows there is no such problem?

Can anyone help? this might be unique problem as no one really care about the last second but for me it does.

Any fix?

Cheers,
Ali

I think Videolan should be professional enough to run these types of test before releasing next update.

This is great player, but thing like these make people switch players.

Hope fix is out soon.

Congratulations, you put the nail in the coffin. There is zero professional developper and/or QA staff. You're welcome to hire one or more.

Its been 5 months already and there have been 2 fixes after that but how come VideoLan is not fixing this... i am sure its not complicated but its really annoying.. i am on the verge of switching to another media player. Come on guys show some professionalism and fix this for once and for all.

Thanks
