id-tag or fileinfo

how can i see and edit id-tag or fileinfo of mp3-flies?

you can see it in "stream and media info" menu in the view menu, while playing. Or right-click->info in the playlist after playing. You can't edit it with vlc

You can see parts of the id3-tags in the playlist of course. The rest is shown in the information-window (right-click on an item in the playlist to make it visible or have a look at the window-menu if you are using Mac OS X). Editing id3-tags is not possible with VLC at the moment and no-one is working on it AFAIK.
