Can anyone explain to me how you install libmpeg2? I got an error message saying:
libmpeg2 error: invalid picture encountered

I searched on the internet and apparently I need to install libmpeg2 but I have no idea what to to. Could someone please help me? Many thanks.

You already have libmpeg2 if you get that error.

What do I need to do in order to fix that error?

Fix libmpeg2, the VLC libmpeg2 plugin or the corrupt file as appropriate.
