Record and Trickplay Reverse Functions - Help Requested

Postby smudger » 30 Mar 2010 14:12

.

I notice there is no documentation I could find for the Record button. Playing a locally stored mp4 file I thought by pressing it I could maybe record and store a small portion of it in a separate file, but I am a bit wary of using it in case I overwrite the existing file or something.

I also unsuccessfully tried to add the Trickplay Reverse button to the toolbar (default skin) but it wouldn't actually show. I am not sure what it is but I was hoping to horizontally reverse the video image e.g. for a left handed tennis player to appear as if right-handed and vice versa.

Any helpful ideas to solve these two issues for me would be most appreciated. :)

Thanks

.

Automatically recorded have a date and time in their file name, so they won't overwrite one another.

Thanks Remi.

So how does one actually use the Record button? Do you have to press other buttons as well to get it to work?
