viewtopic.php?f=4&t=36447&p=113366 - dating back to 2007 - it is mentioned that VLC VoD streaming do not accept clients located behind a NAT.
Is it still true with VLC 1.1.0?

For the record, if using rtsp for streaming, the client can not be reached behind a NAT. See this blog for more details:

Note that the problem is related to rtsp and not to VLC per se.

No big difference. VoD is unmaintained at the moment.
